Thanks for the reply mate. I'll PM Sam about them in the morning then mate. Gotta say your car looks quality to be fair and I'm loving those gauges. I bet your well chuffed with them!

My mates just bought a 07 plate Focus ST-2 and I'm jealous of his gauges so might have to pull this out of the bag lol.

No worries bud :)

Yeah worth a go. Also, Sam said the install was quite easy for him, so he's good with this stuff too! Get his mobile no. when it comes to installing, he will be happy to help I'm sure!! He text me few times at the weekend when me and my mate were doing the gauges. Sam's a top guy.

I'm so chuffed with them, it's been something on my mind to do for a long time. I've actually had the gauges for about 5-6 months since I bought them off Sam.. It was time for me to pull my finger out and get these sorted. So glad I have done now. Thanks for the kind words :)

Yeah the ST's come with central dash-mounted gauges, 3 IIRC, boost, oil temp and water temp is it? I'm not 100% on the 3rd, could even be a clock, lol. It was a smart move by Ford to be fair. If your running a remapped turbocharged car, these are essential imo. I know at peak she hits around 1.7 bar at the moment and holds, so if she tails off for no reason I'll be under the bay checking for leaks or getting vagcom out. Plus they look mint too [B)]

Good luck in your gauge venture mate!

More goodies arrived :)

Just a quick update...

Dave @ Sere motors = LEGEND! Delivers all goods as described quicker than my local SEAT could! And he's over in another country, lol.

More goods arrived today for the car, quick breakdown:

2 new engine cover screws (with grommets, old one's knackered)
4 new LCR alloy wheel centre caps. Standard replacements as I don't want the car going too far from OEM and I want her to just look smart and a bit fresher.
4 wheelnut covers, which I was lacking. I will lacquer and spray these hopefully saturday morning before Bromley Pageant show on Sunday. Even though that could be a washout yet.

The goods:

Like I've maintained with alot of cars I've owned, it's the small details that count if you really care about your car!

Happy with the car lately! :D

Just want the summer and holidays out the way so I can hammer the rest of the mods out before the end of the year. Bring on the upcoming months.

I have years of messing around with my LCR yet, did think about something newer but nothing took my fancy so i thought i'd go BT and a little unique
Probably will never sell the car unless i have too, just retire it to track use when its too old

You're right about the small details mate! I'm gonna get some new centre caps after I get my wheels refurbished. Have you got a link for the number plate bulbs please? mine are still fine but I'm thinking of replacing them to be safe. Great work:D

Haha, I thought about the option of a MK2 but they are fugly next to a MK1! Nothing else excites me really like the LCR did to me when it 1st came out. The fact there isn't many around on the road you see and the fact it surprises alot of people with it's pace and tuning potential, makes me want to finish the project. I'd love to Garrett mine! Could still happen yet.. You could be my inspiration!

Track use for these seems a perfect resting home! ;)

Bromley Pageant prep day!

Popped out this morning and bought some bits to give the car the treatment for the Bromley Pageant tomorrow, although it might rain I'm pleased to finally get some Megs products on-board aswell as that brilliant Autosol metal polish for my charge pipe, manifold and milltek exhaust tip :)

Went for Gold Class shampoo & conditioner and NXT speed detailer.

Also got a couple of pics of the gauges at night from a drivers perspective for those interested (as a couple have told me they are thinking of the same setup)

Got the car 90% sorted for the Bromley Pageant show tomorrow, hoovered completely, windows cleaned inside and out, interior wiped down, Autosol'd the manifold and charge pipe and blackened some plastics back up by going over the bay a bit.

Also sprayed my new wheelnut covers with 3 layers of silver spray, they look mint and I'll fit these in the morning so to be sure they are fully dry. Wheel centre caps still to fit and I want to Autosol the milltek's oval tip.

Stupid rain halting play!!

So essential I just fitted mine in light rain lol :)

Look so much better! My car will be having a break from treatment now while a few holidays come up and trips away. I think another 2 months on, when my finances have recovered, I'll be getting the fans fixed, having a brake overhaul, and the full Superpro bushing kit.

Yeah get some gauges buddy, they're awesome!

Lol it's ok Wayne, I don't think there will be any pi$$ing on our fire tomorrow.. There's a few hundred miles separating me and you lol.

I've checked about 3 or 4 different weather sources, all are saying around 3pm tomorrow there will be rain. Which is fine as we get to the show for about 8am.
