I use both tbh mate. Know a lot of people on both also.

Should be a good Sunday. Defo want a nosey around your motor ;)

I'll have to have a little wonder over to SSS on the day say hello and have a nosey! Havent seen your car in ages!

Yeah sounds good mate, I'll be about the sss one and over at the scn one too as I know people on both fairly well.

Are you on a stand?

Airtec FMIC.

So thought I better update in here about what went down yesterday at AmD...

Just want to say thanks to all the guys there, they put up with me nosing around all day and I cannot fault their honesty, expertise and comedian attributes at all. Kenny did crack me up quite a few times!

So the Airtec FMIC for the LCR. I went for a Black cooler with black hoses. It's time to go stealth.

Cooler in the AmD office (yes they let me sit in Shaun's seat and be a nuisance most of the day) :p

TX cooler removed (300bhp) reached using this so it's not coming off because it's rubbish as it certainly performs! I will be cleaning it up for it's new home wherever that may be.

Thoughts..

So this will be a purely on the road review as I need to go back to have a blast on the rollers again with the Airtec fitted to get some data in that form.... The runs I got done were with the TX for a comparison. But never mind, I will go back at some point soon.

On the road, I have to be honest, the car pulls harder in 3rd up its noticeable for sure. I've not done enough driving though to give a more detailed review but the initial thoughts from an on the road perspective are very good. I knew this cooler was going to be decent.

Airtec have done a great job IMO. The kit is designed to be very efficient, well as much as it can be with the flow. And the core quality is superb. Fits on like a dream and you can keep your fogs if you wish. I don't as I think my passenger fog removed helps more air flow to my filter but who knows. I don't need the fogs tbh.

This is a great kit and looks super stealthy in black as a couple of you guys who have fitted these will know. Really pleased with it, and am now just wanting the car to adapt over this week and then I'll be back for a rolling road session at AmD to see what's what..

Anyone after a stealthy (or not stealthy as they do them in silver aswell) fmic kit for their LCR should seriously think about one of these. It's bigger than the smaller Forge for sure and cheaper, is superbly made and designed with excellent fitting.

I'll drop by in here with some more review later in the week as the car needs to adapt and learn a little bit again, so a few cold starts should help the ECU out.

Very happy though :)

Awesome Tom, looks massive in comparison to your old one. Looking forward to seeing how it performs on the rollers.

Yeah it's big mate ;)

Will post up in here once I can get her back on the rollers for some logging. Might try do some myself soon on the road as it feels brutal at the moment. :D
