I've still not got my wishbone bushes fitted

You'll get A LOT more traction, Tom. I upgraded my LCR to S3 wishbones and I was amazed at how much less wheel spin I got. A great mod!
Be interesting to see what you make of them Tom. Been considering polybushing mine for a while now.

It's all a gimmick, won't make a single difference to handling. It's where your wallet is lighter after paying for it is why the car feels better to drive
Totally disagree. The bushes on my car had 45k on them (so still fairly tight) the car never crashed over bumps and still felt good to drive.
I only upgraded cos I was doing tons of other stuff to it and would of received extra discount.
Well, the car felt fantastic. I even wrote a review. If the old bushes on my car were still ok and yet I STILL noticed the dynamics of the car improve all round then they must be a good investment no?
Glad I done them, it's not a subtle mod at all. The car feels tighter, smoother and much better composed.

I have had the Powerflex dog bone mount done since day one so wheelhop was never an issue but I did have wheelspin just less savage plus my map is very smooth.
I had the Powerflex replaced today with the SuperPro dog bone and it's better! Pulls very hard but the power goes down MUCH harder now! Love it. Wants to eat the road up

Anyways... moral of the story here is the bush kit has made a massive difference to the car! Brilliant feel to it now. I'll do another post aka a mini review of today's findings..
I'd polybush it first thing if I could do it again. In fact I'd leave power fully alone and go all out on making the car handle like it's on rails then be able to get the power down better.
However, doing it this way has seen it go from savage to much more controllable with each handling mod I've done and now the bushes complete it.
So aswell as the SuperPro full bush kit, I got a couple more things done to the car while it was in AmD Essex for the work to be done. These were:
-Newsouth 1.8T intake power manifold gasket.
-42 draft designs decat spacer.
-Forge 1.8T 225 breather hoses (the one's under the inlet manifold which are known to split).
Everything above went on and the car sure does feel good. Ridiculous in fact. Took it for a drive down to the Grasshopper pub in Westerham about an hour ago to see how the country roads are with the bushes done and it was very very good fun

So for those thinking of doing the polybush route to your LCR, my advice is do not hesitate. Get it done. There is literally not much point dropping these cars down low on coilovers/lowering springs, then fitting front and rear anti roll bars aswell as strut braces if you aren't going to polybush it. This is what I've realised tonight..
The car is so much better to drive and now feels like a handling hatch that's direct, responsive on the turn and has much more direct feel to it with the road. I pushed it hard through some country road bends and it just turned in so well, really impressive. The best characteristic now is flat cornering! Sure the anti roll bars helped but with knackered old bushes it would still roll slightly that I could notice and I wasn't happy with it if I'm honest, I am very picky though.. Lol. However, it's now near non existent! Should be awesome to try it out on track again next year now. With the torque the car has and the handling now to match, it's becoming quite a weapon.
The ride is also much less harsh now... Which makes me think my old bushes were very shot as AmD told me a while ago.. The car absorbs bumps in the road so much better and the ride is a whole load more stable than before.
Now, for those worrying about cabin vibrations, fear not, these are minimal and are likely to go away after you get a few miles under the bushes belt. On idle you can tell it's just been bushed as it just feels more taught in the cabin. Right through the seat, but it's not harsh/abrasive tbh. Just feels like a newer car. There's no vibration at slow speed and to be honest, on idle I wouldn't even go as far to say it's a 'vibration' - more a tightness which you can feel coming from the chassis that's been brought up to date.
This really is a must have IMO for any LCR be it at stage 2 and quite far gone like mine or even stock. It WILL improve the ride guaranteed.
Superb work by AmD again, it's not a small job but they do it right and time and time again. Which is why I'm a loyal customer.
