Tail light problems??

Ive had the same problem on my car before , first check the rear washer isent leaking then remove both clusters and remove the bulbs, then cover both the clusters with wd40 and scrub all over with a toothbrush rembering to get into the little nooks, wipe it off then do it agine, try to replace it with new blubs and give the connections a little spray with wd 40, it seemed to sort out the light problem i had on my car
