Ibiza Tailgate

Hi I'm new to this,hope you all had a good Christmas??

I've got an Ibiza Sport 1.4 (07 Plate),and I seem to be having intermittant problems with the tailgate.

I've read the manual regarding keyhole position and even when i use the keyfob or manual the tailgate wont open.You can hear the motor trying to engage in the tailgate,but it wont connect to the handle.

Typical i took it to the Seat Dealer in Letchworth,but as usual it worked perfectly and they could not find any problem.

ANY IDEAS??

i had the same problem with my cupra! i booked it in at the dealer and the earliest they could get me in was 2 weeks away. so i booked it in. during this time i checked the boot again and again and again. then the night b4 it was dew 2 go in, i checked it and it worked! figure that out!!

Took it back to Dealer,and after various technitions had a look the conclusion is that a new handle is required.

Only glitch is that there isn't one in the country-so have to wait 7-10 days.
At least it's sorted.
