taking the turbo oil feed suggestions

hi there. i am fitting a aftermarket turbo and therefore also using aftermarket turbo hoses as it is a t3 garrett turbo. i am using new oil pipes for the turbno but unsure of where to take the oil from. i was going to fit a oil filter sandwhich plate and ake the oil from there. does anyone have any other good suggestions of where to feed the oil to anf from?

Take it from the original oil supply point, what engine is it ?
On my 1.8t the oil feed for the turbo comes from a port on the oil filter housing.
Its a banjo connection.

im turboing a 1.6 16v polo gti engine as a project using a skyline t28 turbo just need to find a decent place to take the poil from. i was considering a sandwhich plate?
