I need some help guy's.

I had a split hose a few days ago which caused a boost leak :( It was the hose between the top of the charge pipe and the N75, The pipe has now been replaced with some reinforced forge hoseing of the same diameter.
Right the new problem I have is this;
We went shopping tonight, only about a 10 mins drive and most of it was in traffic, Came out of the supermarket, started the engine and the TCS and ENGINE MANAGMENT light's both came on, I checked all the hose and they are all tight and secure.
I'v had a search on here and everyone seem's to think this could be MAF failure, What I want to know is has anyone else cured this problem by replaceing the MAF ???

I'm hopeing to get it VAG-COM'd at the weekend.

If anyone has got any other ideas I'm open to try them or if anyone's got VAG-COM in SE London and dont mind checking for some error's give me a shout.

BTW the car is a 54 plate Leon Cupra R and it drives fine and does'nt seem to be in limp mode

Thanks
Darren

Hmmm, I think (but dont hold me to it) that those lights both came on when my temp sensor went (G62).

VagCom is the way forward from here my friend.

Also, sorry this is off topic, can you link me to the silicon hose you used for charge pipe to N75 please? Forge don't seem to do a direct replacement hose for the LCR.

is it maybe that the codes were not cleared when you had a spilt hose, when a hose poped off mine it popped up 2 codes, i cleared them but if you havent then it might have just poped the lights on,

my hose that popped off was the same one that split on yours darren,

:doh: Yes I know :w4nk:
When I was looking for the boost leak at the weekend I took the airbox out and therefore unplued the MAF, I must have forgoten to plug it back in :redface:
The TCS light has now gone off but the EM light was still on when I tryed it this morning, I'm going over to AmD hopefully tomorrow to get the error cleard=ed so I'll let you know weather that was the problem or not but it look's likely.

Thanks for your help guy's.
