Team dynamics pro race 1.2

I have just bought a set of mint pro race 1.2s ready to go on my leon but i cannot fit them as my friend currently has the car. The question is I originally believed that ET45 should fit but now im some what dubious. the wheel dimensions are 225/40/18 ET45 onto a mk1 pd130. anyone who could shed light on this would be a great help cheers.

You do realise these are soft as butter and will bend easily, One reason i never went for them.
Yeah should be fine to fit.

no i didnt realise this :/ .. my mate did have a set and he cracked his nearside rear. I did originally think it was his driving or a big pot hole. but now you've worried me .. i brought these because i was looking at bbs ch reps but fancied something generally lighter and genuine which hopefully would of promoted far build quality. obviously not the case then.

I put a set of fr + rims on my fr 180 leon mk1 and they had small buckles in but because I'm fussy I had them straightened out only £40 each if they get damaged its not expensive don't matter what rims you have these days you have to watch out for pot holes lol

lol true but pro race 1.2 are a very light wheel.Hence i stayed on standards.

I always thought they were forged?

Rays Engineering Volk /BBS LeMans rims are also light, but they are forged and therefore lighter and stronger than cast wheels.

they dont feel paticularly light to me 19.3 kg including tyre? .. i probably would have went for cupra r wheels but theyre hard work to get hold of in good condition .. and ill most probably see less leons with these on i suppose and i like the design.

I really like the wheels, they are 9kg a rim iirc

not so sure about light but they are known for being a great track wheel with excellent caliper clearence.

i got a set on mine but no idea on pcd - 225-40-18 also but the ride is nice and smooth

is your car on stNdard suspension beastgtir?? as im going on coilies next month and think the ride will most probably be fun but harsh.. and the offset printed on the front of wheel. have a look tomorrow and let me know if youd be so kind

im not usually a fan of the mk4 obviously a bit bias but that is sitting nice and the pro race set it off.. i like it.. was they 45 offset also?

I also like the look of the Pro Race (was on my shortlist), but got a better deal on these.

ahh i was thinking red pin stripe on mine just to seperate them from the car as itll be black on black.. also like the subtly tinted rear ljghts.. nice lcr. looks tip top
