Always wondered where the sense is in naming a car company "KIA"

Then again, maybe i'm the only one who immediately thinks "Killed in action"

I'd agree with that... the standard Cooper S is only a pain off the line. With a rolling stard it's not problem at all, LCR will walk by happily... but not massively so. I mean, it's not a night and day difference, just enough to show I'm faster than you as you go past it. But the S Works is a different matter and would sit on the LCR's tail all day long.

HAHA i always go in to the server room to come on here!! Then no one can see :) and its been really hot latly so it Looverly!!! :cartman:

Can imaging a LCR cruising past, if I was able to stay on his tail.

Get my remap and my clutch, and my suspension & ARB's, then we will see who's boss!!

I had a Renault Sport Clio 182 up my arse on a country road. I couldn't pull away and he couldn't catch me (till I deliberately slowed down and let him past). I chickened out at 110Mph approaching a hump backed bridge and a sharp corner.

He managed it no problem at all. I guess they handle very well and he knew those roads far better than me. :D

Some of the small hot hatches are very very quick indeed

Them renaults are built for back country roads tho, and there really fast off the mark, i know, i used to own a 172 sport and it would keep up with just about anything on the twisty roads, not a great motorway mile eater but loads of fun in the twisties, a lot better than my Cupra, more fun.

Yup

I have an excuse though.. I'm sitting in a freezing cold server room working through four new server builds, so if I don't do something to stop my brain from freezing, I'll never be able to leave the room!
You know rob if you are working on good HP ML370 servers with dual PSU's that should heat you up :)

lol......if you can find one without an engine management fault, or one without a ton of water in the footwells !!!
We sold our 182 after 6months, worst car ive ever owned, total load of shite. Dont get me wrong, a quick car, but the quality was worse than any car I have ever heard of !!

No chance, IBM servers with a silly amount of internal fans that sound like they are going to take off when you fire them up

I couldnt belive it last night after replying to this thread yesterday , on the way home from work ( heathrow) i came up against a cooper s !
lucky for me it was a dual carriage way so he got his ass handed to him on a plate ! the poor asian guy in the car was quite upset me thinks .

Though i do feel a remap is required as i did have to give it everything i had !

Haha, perhaps we should start a "I hate Cooper" gang. I was extremely annoyed, and will be looking towards a map asap.

But well done, glad you nailed him!!
