I just noticed the temp gauge on my Ibiza is reading 110 degrees I turned the car off and it settled at 70 the bottom of the gauge is 50 the car is not getting hot and I had the temp sensor replaced not too long ago. is this a fualt with the gauge or a software fix?
i'd imagine its a gauge fault, my fuel gauge is the same.. settles at half a tank an goes off the sacle when i turn on the ignition.. fortunatly i got the trip to tell me when i'm running low!! VAG Clusters are cr@p.. had to take mine out and solder it as my immobliser kept disabling the car... once again instrument cluster... good luck with that!!
Its a fault temp sending gauge. My packed in when the car was less than a year old and was replaced. Think they said it was in the front bumper somewhere.
