So basically you paid £235 for a service?
How can they get away with that?
Yeah, tell me about it.
basic breakdown was as follows
Service £111
Labour £120
Oil 5l - £45
loan car £10 for insurance CDW, (2 loan cars during the period too - first, a leon stylance - the alarm would not stop going off. The second an altea, a suprisingly good car.)
I did think I got a nice free 1 litre oil top-up left on the front seat but that was on the invoice too at £9
didn't even wash it or vac the interior ! it's not like it was a rush job they did have the car for 8 days.
Me thinks I will be going to Camberley next.
p.s. the above was Newbury Seat, if anyone is interested.
Yes you are right - it was a long day yesterday.
Labour and service at £111
and Parts totalled £80
VAT made up the rest.
doesn't seem quite so bad now that I am awake.
Was your quote at white dove inclusive of parts and vat ?
Parts replaced:
oil filter - 8.35
sump bung/washer - 2.75
screenwash - I hate it when they do that - 2.04
coolant - 6.99
brake cleaner - 3.50
synta gold - 43.95
I pay £15 per month for a SEAT service plan (should of cost more but the guy who sold me the TFSI quoted price for wrong model and SEAT arn't charging me more due to it not being my fault, thank you SEAT), this covers 3 years servicing, a 3rd year breakdown service and the cost of the first MOT, great value...
Hi Edward, all I can tell you is the dealer is in Herts and I bought the car in June, they offered the deal backed by SEAT at the time of purchase.
