We've got a chance to give some feedback to the CUPRA team who are visiting the UK this Friday. Please can you let @Syphon have any constructive thoughts / feedback that he can pass on.

Think about pricing / finance deals
Range of cars coming
Brand awareness
etc.

Just been advised I don't have a build date but they're now expecting November. Not the end of the world I guess!

Delivery time is a bit of a lottery isn't it? My dealer told me to expect around 4 months.

I was told it is first come first serve and they are made in order of order unless there is something to delay I.e 100 orders of standard and one with sunroof they may do the 100 first.

I was apparently one of the first orders of my20 so will see and I’m being told early October

Well after SEAT CS being adamant that my car was still awaiting a ship, it's now turned up in the UK port.
How long should it take from UK port to delivery ( being delivered to home address) ?

Ah Brilliant! Did seem weird that yours missed the boat.
No idea how long, think it will depend if you are buying through a dealer or broker.
Mine took 5 days to get from port to my dealer.
According to said dealer Seat UK as supposedly pretty keen to get these cars out by the end of the month. So l expect to get the keys by Wednesday at the latest.

Would be good to get keys by Wednesday. Broker mentioned Seat needing to register/deliver car by 16 August at the very latest. But expect car to be at dealer/prepped well before then. This absolute date was stated before update on car being at UK port,

I think its about 3-4 weeks from being built to dealer. I would say end of October at latest. Seat will want all those cars in the UK as early as possible pre Brexit 2.0 deadline.

I have a possible hunch that because there’s an end date of circa week 47 linked to Urban Silver where it ceases to be available, that any cars ordered in that tone are possibly being brought forward.

That could be complete and utter fantasy in my head though.
