is there any reason I cant see the photos?
I use tapatalk and images are there.
Shame really I never went and met mcfunbot I did it myself. I've got loads of 4mm if anyone needs it. White only, but top quality high temp rating. Peterborough area.

So....... on the thread posted above the fun police seem to be ripping into this mod saying it’s a strong no no. However when researching on the R-tech site they recommend it? Wow absolute minefield

Well this is weird, got an email about a reply to a thread on here for about the first time in 3 years!

Long time since I had my Cupra and was doing this stuff but I did the N249 bypass and had no issues. Note that’s bypass and not delete, if you want to fully remove it think that’s when you have to start messing around with wiring and resistors etc. Whether bypassing it actually achieves anything is up for debate, I seem to remember getting a bit sharper DV response, bit more of a dump sound but that’s all it does. I bypassed it more to take all the piles of vacuum hoses out of the equation, did it at the same time as replacing crank breathers etc with silicone hoses.

Haha sorry bud haha. But the car field is littered with yes and no in relation to this. This bypass method seems ok, if it goes tits up plumb it all back in I guess
