The new Altea

Anyone got one yet looking at the Altea sport 2.0tdi 170 is this the same engine that was in the FR?

Also any bad points or points that could be better I have had a Altea before but some year ago

Yes and no. It's the engine that is in the current Leon FR, ie the new common-rail unit. Haven't driven an Altea with this engine but it's smooth and strong in the Leon. Sport gets a nice set of 17" alloys and all the usual interior comforts - really looks the part.

The new CR engine is much better than the old 170PD, a lor more refined and power/torque delivery is much smoother. I've driven both in Leon and Altea and can vouch the new one is a big improvement.

I have the xl in 170cr pulls nice very smooth, eats front tyres (maybe my driving lol)
