Hi guys welcome to my RR, I warn you now this will be picture heavy and my grammar is not very good!
So here is my 2004 54 1.2 mk4 Ibiza! I got her with 57k on the clock not many owners and an ex display car.
So I have kept this car stock in till now, I have alot in mind for this little car! So I got started over the weekend with my friend, managed to get the badges sprayed and the surround for the raido/heater dials.
I also added some aero wipers and LED side lights (white)
So got the front grill out after fighting with the pins!
Then we attacked the boot trim to get to the badge, this was a real pain!
Got there in the end.
Then off came the surround, excuse the messy car!

So now we started to mask up and clean the parts, gave the badges a good rub down so the primer would take to the chrome finish.
Decided not to spray the lip of the tray so ignore that!
Here is the paint we picked up from halfrauds also got white primer and lacquer.
More masking.
Applying the primer now, came out really well with around 3-4 coats.
Then we started the colour.
We then realized that we messed up and we wanted to keep the front badge black, we then made an awesome gradient tint with the black and purple and came out really well! This is it with a coat of lacquer on.
So left the parts to dry over night in a warm room came back in the morning and put it all back together!
Came out well in the end!
So after we had finished putting the bits back on we started are road trip to Salisbury to pick up some new head lights and rear lights. my front set were showing there age and were only single reflectors, the new ones are double reflectors and the new back set are the silver lights not sure if there cupra or fr? I got them for a great price! I have not got them on the car yet but a picture will be up the moment I do!
Now today is 13/01/2014 I should have a nice package waiting for me at home, I wont tell you but I will give you a clue. It make allot of noise!

Keep the pattern mate and apply it to different parts of the car.
