Dave to the rescue, again. Do you have a theme song?Yes.
Just remove it and leave the N112 connected.
Take your dv vac from a more direct source.

Thanks, but eh? Leave the N112 connected I'm ok with, but what about the N249? Can that part be connected (and work) without a place to draw vacuum from?
When ECU wants to open DV durnig full throttle/acceleration, simply "energizes" N249, which will "de-select" the DV from the intake manifold (boost), and "switches" it onto the vacuum reservior.
Ugh, I edited while you posted.
Hmm, how can the N249 get any work done without the reservoir?

What do I use to blank out the vacuum tube with? The smallest blanking plug I've seen is 10 mm, way too big.
Dave on a slightly different note, will the n249 have to be removed on mine when the turbo goes on, as I hear it does not like BT type conversions or a lot of boost and tries to interupt too much?
I didn't have any noticeable issues with mine on BT, but car was smoother and more responsive without all the excess baggage.
You can get 8mm alloy blanking plugs - I have 2 spare now I've removed the SAI junk. If you want one PM me your address and I'll post it to you FOC! Failing that a simple bolt and hose clamp will do.
any one got a pic of the finished thing?
