Know the feeling

Needs frt discs, got about 2mm lip on. Frt pads, lights been on a few weeks now and a few miles:( and rear pads well on there way.

Brembos = Look great cost loads.

Been lucky my pads only cost me £40 through a groupbuy on here, plus I fitted them myself. The easiest pads I have changed. not needed new disc's yet.

450 for discs and pads!!! jesus H christ, thats on of the resaons i didnt get an R, thats just insane, id never have that kind of money set aside so god knows how people afford it.

:-o 2mm lip!! Brembos start there life at 28mm and should be replaced at 26mm which = 1mm lip. Also from what many people have said on here the warning light only comes on when the pads are very very thin, sound like you are pushing your luck and it wont be long before you dont stop!

Or £200 if you buy the pads from galfer insted of letting galfer sell them to brembo, then brembo selling the to SEAT, then SEAT selling them to you adding £90 to the price, and shop arround between dealers for the discs.

I paid £80 each for the discs from Warrington SEAT and you can get the std. pads from galfer for £40 or up-rated ones for £60.
