Looked at my car this morning and some thieving pikey has niked my valve caps [:@]

I can't believe some low life has nicked mine instead of spending a £1 at their local tyre fitters. :ban:

It's a good thing I didn't have my Chrome SEAT ones on or I would have been really :censored: off.

Messing with another mans car is just wrong

Ive had it done so many times with metal ones. Hold the valve with a pair of pliars to stop the valve from being ripped out and tighten slightly with 10mm spanner! ;)

Can't beleive people would even risk getting caught stealing something so cheap.

I mean If I happened to walk around the corner as they were doing it, they would have no chance of getting away.

Car parked right outside my house (usually it's in the garage), it gets a valve cap nicked and keyed down both sides! If only I'd seen them do it, I could :censored: !

I've had mine robbed on a few occasions....then I bought some Richbrook locking caps which eventually clogged with dirt so the little shits were able to remove them. Eventually the kids on my road admitted to it (they actually felt guilty cause i was nice to them) so they dropped them back to me but I haven't bothered putting them back on....now they just leave the plastic ones in place.
My Dad had the bulbs out of his fog lights robbed!

i had mine nicked a few times so got some nice posh chrome ones on my old motor, tightened them up that tight that they ceased to the valves and i had to get new valves all round  expensive as well that was!

wondered why no-one had nicked them

just waiting for them to nick my nice chrome aerial next!

The annoying thing is that in the eyes of the law it's only about £1's worth, but you just know that the person who nicked them is bound to be causing trouble elsewhere but they'll get away with it and they could carry on doing it for the rest of their lives. 'it's only worth a few pence, so that doesn't really count then does it':ban:

It's not the fact that somebody nicking a valve cap means I have to go and buy a new packet that annoys me, it's the total lack of morality and respect for other people and their property!

oh god not this again! i remember back in school kids knicked dustcaps for competitions etc lol what a bunch of cocks! Anyway my bro told me a good tip use either vaseline or clear grease over the valve this will stop them from taking them off all u need is spanner which i doubt most of them carry. Or simply buy anti-theft ones lol
