Think i blew my back box

Well ive just noticed this today! the car normaly has nice brrrrrrrrr sound, but when i flour it sound like a tractor when it hits 3000rpm, its coming from the back, as i had the windows down!

Could be. Have the engine on tickover and see if you can feel air being blown from the backbox or the joints. (Careful it will be hot after a while).

Just had the car exhaust sytem examined by kwik fit! (Best customer service!)
They state that the back box and the piping joint has a leak and the down pipe from the turbo needs a new gasket.
Any idea how much is a new gasket turbo down pipe?

i would have thought a gasket would be dirt cheap, fitting it will not.

THis realy blows! I had my car taken back to MIJ performnace due to small leak in rear pipe next to back box. They had it for 30mins and gave the car back saying all fixed, that was 2days ago!
Last nite the car slighly started blowing again! Rang MIJ, they stated no one here and the person out on buisness
Later after driving back to drop some off. the whole thing went!
The car started jerking slighly and alot of noise from the rear. People must have thought who's subaru coming up the road! Felt awfull! Now i cant take it to mij as ive lost trust due low quality work that has been done.

Does any know any one else in birmingham who deals with custom exhaust?
