bloody hell dan. personally it dont lok to bad the wings look ok and wheels and things so chassis might be fine as its only really a crash at 20mph as such. really gutted for you mate hope things get sorted soon mate ill give you a ring soon help cheer you up. so even zimmerman disks and red stuff pads didnt help you think of damage with 288's on it! could have been alot worse
Thanks for all your support guys, i would love to have the car repaired, but would it drive the same again?and would i feel confident in the car again? Im not sure i would tbh. Was shuck up big time after it happened
i spent 3K repairing my car, i got back in it and with in seconds i decided i wanted to be shot of it.
i didnt feel comfertable in it any more, didnt trust it, didnt feel safe.. mind you that didnt stop me taking it to snetteton the next day!
i have never before got back in to a car i had an accident in. every time i went round the same bend in that car i had flashbacks. jsut remember feeling the car up on 2 wheels and thinking.. ****.. its gonna roll.
i trust the man who put it back together 100%, the car is back to perfect state, but mentally.. i just didnt want it any more.
when my mum had a smash in her Leon, the car was repaired back to normal but it just didnt feel the same. I mean, I work in a body shop and know that everything damaged is replaced....but its still mental as you say.
Hope you get better soon mate. Best wishes. it will maybe haunt you for a bit. I am over the crash me and my mum had, but when you get put in a similar situation it makes you nip your bum a bit.
You have loads of support chap and like people have said, i know it makes it no better, but it is only metal.

tbh...saying that you're not sure about the car or whether you feel safe in it anymore - after seeing the aftermath and where the car ended up I think the car was a contributing factor in keeping you safe - and our little look at the NCAP safety ratings info last night - there are a lot of cars out there where I'm sorry to say the outcome could have been worse. BUt saying that if you're not comfortable in it - you could always have a GOLF SDI or get a small family car hee hee hee or perhaps a g-whiz - they look cool
