Does the FR TDI come with 312mm brakes up front as standard ?

Nope is doesnt, decent price that for a + as most I was looking at where 14k, i like the kit on the + just not swayed by the alloys, they are still nice though. Get the badges sorted out though as its like a shopping list on the back from the factory.

Well, that's one thing to upgrade since 288mm won't be enough after having 312mm on my Golf TDI!

I've already got a S3 lower brace. Not sure the upper will fit.

Anyone put Eibach springs on the FR? Any improvement?

Yeah the 288's did seem a bit weak compared to the 312's, even though the pads are the same. I waited til it was time to change the front brakes though, which was until about 30k miles. Why SEAT thought it would be a good idea to put smaller discs on a heavier car than the cupra 20vt I don't know

They do seem to be holding their value well, found my old one on Autotrader yesterday, part exchanged it a couple of weeks ago, I got just over £9.5k for it, its going for £11k, with 51,000 miles on the clock. http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/ww...ry=cars&channel=DEALERPAGE&id=200624239156029

If anyone on here gets their hands on it, its already got the 312mm brakes, and Revo, although the Revo just needs switching on with an SPS, and a Touran rear wiper, and I left the Green panel filter in it too.

I love the FR in red but I've always had terrible luck with red cars over the last 9-10 years so had to overlook it on those grounds!

Cheers fasteddie il see if i can go. I need a magic potion of Revo before i do any rolling roads though i think.....

Collected the Leon from Glasgow today and drove it back to London!
Damn this thing is great...really love it!

I was sitting at between 90 and 100 from Glasgow to Birmingham and about 80-90 between Birmingham and London so picked up quite a few dead bugs - needs a wash now! LOL!
Will attempt to wash it today and get some pics!

Blimey - was that the one that was up for £14,290? I was going to get that but plumped for one in Cardiff as I went to Wolverhampton and cheltenham on the way down to have a look at a couple of others. Couldn't justify travelling all that way just to look at one car... After reading this post I feel I've paid too much now as I got it for £14,250, but is just under a year old with 6000 miles on it. Pre-owned by SEAT as a company car...

Hi - by the way - first post - been a lurker for a very long time! :D

See below for some pics I took yesterday. Picking it up next weekend... :funk:

Yop, it was advertised for 14295 and I got him down to 13600 and threw in 6 months tax as well. It's 55reg and had 5481 on the clock.

I did phone the guy in cardiff (David Cornish, Sales Manager apparently) and asked him what he'd be willing to drop to so I know if it's worth my while making the trip over. He said the lowest he could do was 14300 but it might be a different story if I was there sitting in his office. I genuinely think he would have dropped a bit more but I didn't like his manner on the phone when I asked him to commit to a ball park figure.

I'd already spoken to the chap in Glasgow before speaking to Cardiff and already had a good chat with him on the phone. He was really friendly, made sure the car was properly looked after and knew what I was expecting. There was a small dimple dent in the rear passenger door after he completed the physical inspection of the car at my request and he had that dealt with by one of those dent devil companies.

There was also a small scratch on another door but I said I'd rather have that dealt with using a local trusted specialist. The final price more than made up for these minor issues.
