Thinking of selling my 2010 Cupra R, but what's it worth?

Also people do like the red and black theme and I don't think I've seen one before with gloss black side skirts aswell.

I would have yours Leigh if it want over priced ;)

Ermmmmmmmm.

Lol.

Only thing that would put me off would be the mileage as it's higher the my diesel. If I had it for 2 year it would be into the 70's

Strong engine mate, it'll go over 100k easy, it's in its prime right now. You only do a few miles to work, it's no problem for you.

I'm gonna see about replacing or respraying the side skirt, thats the worst bit. I'm gonna take some pictures of the bad bits once it stops raining too. I'm still in two minds about the wheels, look at the pics on my google album, even at high res you will struggle to see the blemishes!

I don't think it's that bad really, it looks like a lot of things are wrong because I've been totally honest.... maybe too honest!

If you know about the faults then I'd say you should be honest, If i turned up to buy your car and you'd not mentioned some of the things you have then I'd be pretty pissed off having made a journey to see it.

Absolutely agree with you, but what I meant is I think I'm being too negative about it!

Just having a closer look to take some pictures. The wheels are ok, 7/10 probably, and the paint chips are difficult to find, even when I know where they're supposed to be! So I'd say the paint is 9/10! The interior isn't that bad either, yes there are some scratches on the seat backs, but they look much better in real life than in the pictures I've just taken, I'd give the interior 8/10. The nearside side skirt is pretty rough though, you can't see it until you get in your hands and knees, but then you see the scratches.... I've had a good go at polishing them out, they're much less obvious to the naked eye than in the pictures I've taken. You wouldn't know about these scratches if I didn't tell you!! youd only notice once you're detailing and polishing!! New ones from SEAT are £260 plus painting, so gonna see if I can find a body shop or sprayer to just do the respray. I still wonder if it's worth it because they will only get stone chipped again...

Right, now I just need to upload the pics!

Just had a quick look at the seat pictures, they do look absolutely mullered, if that's an 8/10 then mine must be 12/10 lol if yours sells at that money I'm putting the price of mine up based on this.

Mmmkay, bit harsh...

Well maybe but I've never seen any pics of any other interiors and seats like that. The gloss black have been scratched but not scuffs and tips in the leather. Even if you pitched it at £12000 I wouldn't buy it.

The marks would put me off 100%

You perhaps, but the seats are not ****ed, yes the leather is marked, but most normal humans don't spend a lot of time in the back of their car!!!! And only on taking these pictures today did I actually realise the marks are there. Yes its a shame they're not immaculate, welcome to the real world!

Of course I understand the anal retentive owners club fanboy will not want a car that has any defects, but this car has been used like a car. My wife and dog and other interests get a lot more attention than the car, because it is a ****ing car!!! It has been used to transport people and dogs and stuff like wardrobes and surfboards, because I have a life and I don't spend all my time buffing and polishing and having a wank over other people's forum posts.

You can stop commenting on my thread now, your posts have been 100% complete and utter bollocks, so thanks for nothing.

As for the car and it's value, we will see how much it goes for in the end, maybe I'll even end up part exchanging it for £11k because I can't be arsed to deal with dickheads like you!!!
