Yeah I'll have a check it's had new antiroll bar, new droplinks cupra wishbone bushes and front bushes so can't be a lot left to go wrong!

Subframe bolts may need checking and re-torquing. Seems to be an issue in early Ibiza sports that they loosen slightly and cause slight movement.

It's free to check!

That's good idea it was off the other week fir new anti roll bar and I'll check the lower engine mount bolts whilst I'm at it!

I had a similar problem with our Fr 130 and traced it eventually to the tyre on the front left.
Though it was the same make and outwardly similar it had a different mix.
I replaced it with another from the same batch as the one on the right and hey ho the problem went away - instantly.
Take a close look at you tyres and make sure they are exactly the same - not just the same make and model but the same mix! A decent tyre dealer will know the difference.

Hi there, check your driver side engine mount, not just suspension parts.
My 04tdi sport has all new bits underneath (shocks, springs, drop links, bushes, wishbones etc) and was still knocking. Changed the engine mount 3 weeks ago and hey presto no more knocking :)

I went to a few garages about my knocking, and they were all saying either
Shocks
Top mounts
Or anti roll bar.
The independent garage was the only ones to say it was defo the engine mount.

I went to a vag specialist who said there isn't anything wrong, had mot who didn't mention it one garage suggested engine moubt but tps quoted £140 so I left it!
