Throttle Body query

Hi

Would the throttle body from a 1995 gti fit a 1999 cupra? Just seen one that may possibly be available but dont want to buy it if it wont fit.

In that case do you or any one know if all 2.0 8v have AGG engines even from 1995?

No, they didn't

they used a 2E (I think)

Yeah, The 8v was 2E up until '96 or '97 (can't remember which) then changed to AGG.
