Every now and again there is what seesm to be a ticking/clicking sound coming from the glovebox. It does it a few times then stops.

It sounds similar to an indicator relay clicking or something swinging and hitting something which it isnt as it does it when standing still at times as well.

Any idea ???

common problem on leons apparently - something with automatic aircon where flap is stuck or something and motor is just trying to move it... at least that's what i read somewhere...

Mine does it 16 times every time then stops. Bit sad that I counted it.

Behind the diagnostic port below the steering wheel there are tons of very big relays, I've noticed them clicking a few times. When the headlight washers spray is a good example. Could be something there?

Ditto! My old Renault Megane used to do this too and it was to do with the vent that closes when you you turn the air circulation inside the car on. Not sure if it's the same within the Leon, but annoying nonetheless.
