How much did the rub strip colour coding cost you?! (Apologies if someone has already asked that. I scim-read the post).

I had a quote for £160. (That includes new rub strips).

in total about 90quid with new strips! 20 odd for the strips and 70 quid to spray smooth and fit them!

The guy who quoted me is supposed to be a real pro. Most of his quote was made up of materials. He wanted to spray with them all sorts of different things so that he could smooth them down to a perfect finish. (From that bumpy finish they start off with).

mine was done at a local repair centre and the smoothing down as a bit of an issue with them they were saying it was going to be hard but if this bloke is doing it so it is super smooth its not to bad least you know its going to be spot on mine has slight bits of grain still visible on the very outer bit in one or two places where is hard to get the spray ie very little surface area to hit

thats really tough! remap obviously but the exhaust sound is great but more impressed with difference between stage two and stage one i would say getting stage two after getting all the bits that really made the car for me!!!!

fitted my cupra headlining now but just waiting for my pillers to arrive off back order then ill get some pics of it up,
also installed a cd changer in the glove box yesterday and running the sub of the standard headunit
