How do you find boost leaks on an LCR? Or any turbo car for that matter?

My car keeps bringing up an error code relating to a leak somewhere. The DV has been changed and all connections on all tubes look fine. So how can I test to find if I have a leak?

We fabricated a bung to go into one of the hoses, which we could then get the compressed air line connected to and give it some pressure with that to try and locate them, obviously not helpful for those without a compressed air line though :(

I ended up giving my car to a VAG specialist they put it on a rolling road and traced the leak (head under the bonnet listening whist the car was running at load etc) within about 40mins, cost me an hour of their time and the replacement pipe but I would never have found it otherwise.

I might have to get my car down to JKM then and see if they can help me out. Not sure there is much point in taking it to my local Seat as I don't think they have a rolling road and their prices are crazy high!

Shame you're not closer to me then Andy :(

I've got the car booked in at JKM for next week. And as an added bonus, it looks as though any work done will be covered under the warranty I got with the car :D The warranty company are happy for me to take the car to any VAT registered garage to have work done! :D
