i been searching and searching without an answer so perhaps someone can answer my question here.. well i am running 185/55/15 on stock wheels.. i really like to go with 185/60/15.. has anyone ran this size on their ibiza? i drive 2001 1.9tdi the 4 door version.

thank you

=)

can 185/60/15 fit on this car? i originally have 185/55/15... the rear wheels seem to be a problem but i dont know. i got a great deal on the 60's so i wanna jump on that size but no one seems to know if they will fit.. so does anyone have this size on their car?

noone will really have this size on their car as they will opt for stock size. However, running a 60 tyre over a 55 will really not affect much at all. Only the speed shown by your speedometer will differ slightly from your actual speed. Hight wise it wont differ much at all either.
Tyre will look even bigger around your rim though...

sure but the question is will this tire size (185/60/15) actually physically fit this car?

should do if still standard ride height... barely an increase

if my maths is correct, the total tyre HEIGHT on 185/55 is 101.75MM (or 50.875mm thick around the whole circumfrence)

on a 185/60 tyres, it would be 111mm (or 55.5mm around the circumfrence)

so a total height increase of just 9.25mm

That's if my knowledge is correct (the "55" is a percentage of the width - aka 185)

aha so roughly 1 cm increase... i wonder if there will be enough room...
thank you for your math skills :)
