Yes looks very silly! however,

Should i get HIDs fitted to make the main beams more white!?

i would have thought my Philips Xtreme bulbs would have looked ok against the LEDs.

I went HID today, just fitted very time consuming (not hard just fidly). They look the muts though HIDS and only cost £49 deliverd

here are pics to help make up your mind

Or you could go for some "Sports Blue" halogen bulbs - they look much better than standard bulbs. That's what I had before the HIDS. Not a very clear picture but this is the White halogen bulbs.

Are the Halogen bulbs if you dont wanna fork out for HIDS. They were a lovely colour and looked Xenony on the road! As you looked at them they looked crystal white too. Would recommend them. My Bosch HIDS were only £15 though - the expensive bit was postage at £35.

TDIs are fun to fit em on, do able just fidly and you need to think about how to do it. Took me 30mins but had fitted HIDs to a 1.2 before, that was including drilling the headlamp covers.

Get some hids, i got some of a mate very cheap, mine are 10k ones, with the same sidelights as yours
