im considering going for the auto bulbs direct ones but at double the cost but they are digital ones? but all are not fully legal anyway unless u have light washers....
tbh a cheap kit is as good as any other kit really. Long as the light pattern is ok and light is an ok colour then Im not botherd. TBH £200+ for HIDS is mad, you might as well retro fit some from seat for that price
You can get ballasts known as Electrical ballasts, as opposed to magnetic ballasts. This is the same distinction between digital and analogue. The 'digital' ones use solid state circuitry as opposed to steel plates etc used in analogue ones which have been around for decades. They have a higher frequency output so less flickery and more efficient. TBH I dont think you would notice much difference when used in a car - they are less noisy too (not that you would notice).
Ooooo! Tell! One of my mates has just put a 2.0 8v Vauxhall lump in his Mini!
Was in one of the latest Mini mags! I want to stick a Yamaha R1 engine under my bonnet. Apparently you have to put them in backwards to fit under the bonnet. And then change 7 reverse gears into 7 forward gears!
