I'm really pleased to see everything went to plan. Those figures may creep up too while it adapts.

Just ordered N75 and DV boost hoses in blue. £20 from creation, it's a start at least.

Nice one bud. Defo worth doing along the way. I don't even have those hoses yet.

Just done the big one's at the moment. But I've scanned it a good few times now on vag-com and no boost leak from what I can see which is good as I've had one for what seems the last 2-3 months now! Seems tightening all the hoses up last week has sorted it

abs faults are legacy of dyno where rear wheels were'nt moving but front were, so it thinks they dont work. comms also legacy of it being mapped. clear them and all should be fine

tom great results with the remap

all those fault codes will be remap related even today im still getting 1 or 2, clear them and they shouldn't come back if they do then it will be the map, cold starts etc

the fact your car went in fine and now has 3 faults will be down to the software not actual faults

nice work tom, have to make sure theyre on tight running that much boost! Going to have to order a tip tomorrow i think needs to be done and worth sacrificing a night out for.

You can hold off the TIP for a while mate. Leave it till next one, just don't give it full boost everywhere. Which I imagine you won't as it's a daily driver and you need decent mpg of some sort!

It will be alright. But if you really want the TIP done, then go for it.

Coming to think of it, one of my ABS sensors threw a wobbly a few days after the map had the light on the dash and everything. But then I fixed a boost leak and all the faults went? Bar the lambda one which I'll have until I get that o2 sensor!!

It would be but as I mentioned to Tom today, that B5 TIP is not cheap at all now. £200+ isn't it? I got it before the price rise.

I'd be happy with a Forge on there had no issue with mine, but nor the B5 one so it's down to budget really. I also brought up how it's edged my car towards 300bhp and seriously high torque - something which I don't really want on standard rods. So I'm uprating them at some point this year.. Mainly because I don't want to turn the power down on the car!!

so i dont have to make an instructional vid for rs6 anymore tom i had my laptop and software with me today but totally forgot. Could have done it for you. I may do that, drive a bit cooler and get one next month. Having one of those ebay moments though, i want to buy everything lol. Im not going badger 5 rs6 i cant afford it if i go stage 2 then yes i will.

tom go badger 5 tip route a new forge pipe will cost more!

tbh you don't need it polished so that will get the cost down think of it as the last mod you make if badger 5 stops doing or what ever then at least you will have it for the future stage 2 etc

Well now that you've got a stage 1 remap i would save a bit more and get the badger 5 one you will only be taking it off again what ever you buy thats cheaper down the line might not see any better gains at all i had the forge tip one with the stage 2 map up to you just my 2pence worth

Meh, im gonna go cheap i think. Not sure if im ever going to stage 2, certainly not in the next few months unless i come into some money.thanks for the advice anyway mate, just want to replace as much hose as i can for blue ones and its going to cost a fair bit.
