Ok needed somewhere to post some pictures and this seemed the most sensible. I've got a little list of mods but the KW Variant 2 coilovers are the most obvious to the outside world and were fitted yesterday at APS. I don't know exactly how much they were lowered as it was more to look than measurement but it's roughly 30mm.

Before I took it to APS I spent the day cleaning, clay barring and waxing it (no polishing done though so the lovely swirl marks are still about):

After it was lowered it looked like this at the front:

And overall, quality isn't very good as it was from my phone:

This was supposed to be a great photo to show the difference between mine lowered and Jim's FR but hasn't really worked out, I'll have another go in the future and change this (apologies to Becks for getting her in this, I know how paranoid ladies get!):

I've also added the following but haven't got any photos at the moment - 20mm spacers on the rear (thinking about some 10mm or something for the front as it looks like it needs to move out a bit), Seat Sport strut brace (with lizard skin to stop it rubbing on the airbox) and it's got a ********* remap (if that's asterisks don't worry), on two different rolling roads I've had 214bhp and 201bhp and 320lb/ft. No clutch slipping yet ... we'll see!

Yes .. turn in is much sharper, there's no dull second before it decides it wants to bite and there's a lot less under steer. I just need to find some anti-roll bars as it seems there's a difference between the 02 and face lift Ibizas. Anyone with an Ibiza Cupra 06 onwards managed to find front and rear anti-roll bars?

One thing I will say is that the steering seems heavier now it's lowered. I'm not that bothered but it's just a difference I've noticed.

Cheers Karl .. It makes the paint so smooth, I feel quite wrong saying it but it is great to run your hands over it. I will now get my coat.

Looks good. They just look so good lowered.

Shine on the car is immense aswell.

Maz ... I'm going to do horrible things to you at the next meet haha

Cheers Andy, I think I'm helped on the shiny front by the colour, black always seems to look great after cleaning.

Tony, great job on cleaning the car, Looks absolutley stunning. Id say it looks better lowered. ;) Ever thought of putting an LCR splitter on?

are they standard Cupra brakes you got on Tony? Never actually seen em close up...what are the rear ones like?

I'm tempted to upgrade mine if possible...

Cheers Tom .. get coilovers .. you know you want to! I've got say the ride is much improved over the standard suspension, none of the crashing that came with the originals.

Cheers Diss as well, the shine lasted most of the Wednesday, my car now looks slightly yellow thanks to all the pollen and it has a number of dead things stuck to the front. I did think about an LCR splitter but I've had a mixed reception on suggesting it. I quite like the idea of getting one painted in black magic the same as the car .. or alternatively the carbon one that people keep mentioning (although I'd probably have to get a spare).

Nicky, they're completely standard. They're branded Seat Sport but are AP calipers. The discs are EBC Ultimax not the standard ones. As Tom said rears are the same as yours but in red.
