Changed my top mount on saturday on drivers side(passengers side was done about a month back) and took it to national tyre to get it tracked and he said the drivers wheel is way out of line? Anyone got any ideas as it all went back the same as it come off? Thanks

If the old one was worn then the tracking will be out, just get it redone and all should be fine, it's the same with any of the suspension parts.:)

thaks for reply. thought this was the case, he told me that the drivers wheel was out by about 15mm and the track rod ends are equal on either side? This make any sense?

Unless it's possible to move the top a bit, I know with the bottom ball joint it has a bit of movement, you just loosen the 3 bolts underneath and it can move in and out. What I would do is to loosen both top mounts and move them as far as possible in or out and do the same with the bottom ball joints then take it in and get the tracking done. You could always get him to align the wheels straight then take the steering wheel off and re-align it so everything is equal, it's even worse on the cordy because of the way the strut bolts to the hub, there's a huge amount of adjustment possible.:)

what leon is it on mate, LC, LCR...
the LCR has adjustment on the wishbone at the ball joint for camber etc, if thats put back on wonky ie the front bolt to the front of the slot and the back bolt to the back of the slot that would prob put ya about 20mm out...
