your struts are at a different angle, so they will be too.

but they shouldn't move side to side

I'll have to get a pici.

Parked up with the wheels turned, the top mounts are at really dodgy angles/positions. Just dosnt look rite to me.

just took some, bloke next door thinks im mad

This is with the wheels dry steared right

Mine do a similar sort of thing m8, make a tiny bit of noise too (i think).

If it still drives ok...... it'll be fine :D

it mite the bearing that sites at the top ov the leg .i had same sort ov probleam .

Does replacing the top mounts really stop this then ?
Can you buy uprated/hardcore top mounts that won;t wear ? (possibly a dim question I know).

What I should really say is the cost of new top mounts really worth it lol

it would be worth getting them replaced .coz i found that my car drove a lot better and made a bit of a diffrence to the handling when corning or going over speed humps

see euro car parts .they sell em

the bearing that sits inside the mount?? that the damper shaft slides through?

ill change them, got new coilovers so will be easy as pie..... no spring clamps needed :D

Who does uprated ones? i could see this being a benifit

cheers

I was concerned about this when i fitted my coilovers. The drivers side strut sits at a different angle to the other side.

I dont think it has anything to do with the top mounts and bearings as i changed the complete assembly when i did my coilovers.
