towbar fitment, bumper off

Planning to fit a towbar tomorrow, first question how does the bumper come off? think there are torx screws behind the rear lamps and underneath anywhere else?

anybody got a pic of a towbar fitted so I can get an idea of where to cut the bumper?

you have got size 20torx screws have 3 down each side of bumper (in wheelarch) both rear lights need to be removed (can be a pain in the butt) the metal clips on the back are blooming tight then you have a couple of srews under lamps either side about 4 underneith i think and then pull outwards on bumper corners to release from bumper brackets.

if its a non-electrical toe bar, cant it be done without removing the bumper?

well its off, loads of screws.....

I took the rear bumper protection beam off too as the towbar replaces that

anybody tell me which wires to tap into for the towbar electrics

ive fitted toe bars at work but all the wiring is done and i dnt know for certain where they go what will you be toeing if its a traler it will need to be wired up to the rear lights!
