No what will happen is if I put my foot down hard in 1st or 2nd gear it will come up and stay on, until I restart the engine
Does the TCS cut in while you're smoking your clutch?
You need to fault code read
Check this previous thread - could be something to do with the ABS - I've not had this problem - not staying on at least - may be worth doing more of a thread search

Not flooring it in 1st and 2nd gear will probably solve the issue then.
Lol poor old buzz, he's harmless really. Just a bit simple and I think he wanted to show off to the big boys!

I don't have a day off until Monday do can't go back until then, but I rang them and they said they should be able to plug it in and sort it out no problem, so I hope that'll be the case on Monday
Traction control has nothing to do with how much power you have, that's plain ridiculous. All that it cares about is the throttle position and how fast each of the wheels are turning. If both rear wheels are turning at 50rpm, the front left wheel is turning at 250rpm and the front right wheel is turning at 4000rpm, then something is obviously wrong.
It doesn't matter whether you have 100hp or 1000hp. Traction control will cut the power if it detects wheel slip, it doesn't turn into a dynamometer, read how much horsepower your car is putting down and then disable itself if it's too much.

Yes thanks, they plugged it in and cleared it, and now when I'm driving and if it comes on due to excessive revving it doesn't stay on
so it's all back to normal
