Trouble with first & reverse

This might be something and nothing but thought i'd get peoples opinions

Last night on way home from work i had trouble getting the in to 1st & reverse gear. The lever felt spongey like it wasn't quite engaging properly. All over gears were perfect so thats how i could tell

But this morning its fine, i'm thinking it might have just been down to the cold.

By the way i do have the forge short shift

Mine has done exactly this today, did you ever find out what it was or have any further probs?

no never found out mate.
I just put i down to cold weather.

Hasn't happened to me since but did to girlfriend but it sorts its self out
