TT for Sales TDI FR Leon Coming but need help!

Well i am selling my lovely TT Black 270BHP Quattro and get a company car.

(If anyone want a nice Black one give me a shout!)


SO


I am getting a nice TDI FR 170

Was very happy with the drive and performance and styling.


NOW what colour should i get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pictures of people rides please


And should i remap my company car?

Is there a tuning box available to just plug in and increase the performance?

Or do i have to get a permanent map?


Help and advice needed

Remaps for the 170 are not really reliable at the moment due to the soot filter unfortuantly.

As for colour - got to be black

I take it your TT was a 1.8T with a remap? How does the performance compare between the TT and the FR you've tried?

yes, have a search back through and read about the DPF, its the particulate filter in the exhaust which is blocking under a remap. Custom Code have done a map on them i beleive though.

A map is certainly recommended over a basic tuning box which will only make it over fuel.

I will use the search function a bit more!

As for the TT and performance.... well it is far quicker off the line and 0-60 and Top Speed.

BUT

The in gear speed and intial Torque of the TDI FR is very good.

One thing i will say is i tried the golf and the leon and the golf is $hite.

The Leon is a far better machine


Looking forward to getting one very soon.

And I do think Red is going to be the colour i will be going for.

UNLESS u can shop me a few other pictures of White / Grey / Silver / Black ones.

All ok i suppose... except having to sell my TT

But atleast i am getting a brand new Leon TDI FR

Oh and i am moving up to Birmingham!! My company has offered me a new job and relocation package

Just need to choose which colour now and agree to the 18" wheel option that the company will be paying for

All change then! FWIW... Red would be my choice. I think the contrast between the black details and the red paint makes the car look more aggressive than in other colours, something that's missing from the Mk2 Leon.

Agreed the Red is my favourite choice.


Now do the 18" wheels come in 2 different colours? i have seen a grey set and also a more silvery set....... or is it just the light.
