Tuning Question

Im not considering doin this but what would happen if you was to plug a tuning box in ontop of a remap.

would the tuning box modify the already remapped signals and add to them again getting the power increase of both added together?

im guessing the car would only run on the box map, as the plug in boxes have maps installed on them already and cannot re-configure themselves or add another maps power

Hi,
I did this at a rolling road day just to see if would make a difference. It was analogue device:
Without 145 bhp, with 151 bhp - torque extra with approx 20 lb ft.
There was more smoke.

I would suggest it would run awful and risk damage to the engine.
