I'm not so sure, it's really docile and quiet pottering about, then completely insane on boost. :) Not sure I want it much louder in the cabin.

She'll be fair fleet once I figure out why I'm only making 1.2 bar of boost except in 5th.

Ear plugs are the way forward lol.

Have you logged the actual vs requested boost?

Nice spec! This car needed some tidying up last time I seen it up close (over a year ago) but your plans sound good! I had one of these about six years ago, sometimes fancy another :)

I see you about Aberdeen now and again, yellow stands out ;)

Oh and you also were down at crail with my 2nd cousin, Steven with the blue r32

Bodywork is on my to do list, not a fan of the blowover and the widemouth bumper done when Rab had it(At least I think it was Rab who did the blowover) Thanks, there's always plans just got to keep up with the maintenance.

Haha yeah it does, sorry I always fail to spot the newer Seats.

Shame he didn't take it on the 1/4, he beat a fair few of the Fordy boys on the private race track.

Hey guys, I've been a bit slack with progress but here's what I'm up to.

Just had my tracking redone and 2 new rear tires so that's set me back a bit this month.

Redoing my engine bay, intercooler pipework- going for all wrinkle black pipework, hoses, clamps etc and just a general tidy up with a new intercooler, degreased engine bay, maybe a little bit of colour. ;)

I'll hopefully get the new intercooler a/b'd on the logs to see if it was worth the money haha.

Still waiting on a new rocker cover, gaskets, silcone takeoff for n75, more paint and obviously the intercooler before I can get to work.

Some of the parts that arrived...

...and here's the general idea for the pipework though. I'm getting rid of all the gash blue hoses wrapped in tape and generally simplifying the system.

After this I might put some of the interior back in and get to work with redoing the headlining.

Thanks for watching.

I ran mine with out anything in the rear to the scn meet and was well loud on the motor way! I had to go in the hard shoulder at one point ( can't remember why ;) ) but the stones that hit underneath the car was so loud it made me jump haha

Quite docile for me off boost but epic on boost haha. The stones aren't too bad it's the annoying rattle in the rear that I can't source which does my head in. Then again I only do a 10minute b road commute every day. :)

Some more bits arrived today, silicone hose take off, rocker cover, more paint and some nice fabric samples for the headlining, updates to follow.

I had the same rattle, it's the rod which links the movement of the badge lifting up to the boot locks, I sprayed some spray glue behind it and wedged a piece of sponge between the rod and the boot skin, hasn't rattled for 40,000 miles now ;)

Have you got a link to the kit you brought to do your boost pipes as I want to re route mine

Just a universal ebay pipekit and black ASH hoses to replace the cheap red silicone. Might need a bit of trimming here and there. Painted in VHT crackle black.

I'll post up detailed pics when I'm done, still waiting for more paint. :(
