My pal said it could be the rocker cover leaking(as it obviously was) just seems a lot of oil in the one area for it be that. Oil is low on the dipstick so it's leading me to think it's not a gearbox/driveshaft issue but you never know.

More productive day today after picking my toys up and putting them back in the pram...

I've replaced the rocker cover gasket and put on my new yellow rocker cover with the new intercooler pipework, pics to follow.

I'll clean it up and change the oil and see if it comes back. I'm dreading dropping the turbo again, was a 3 man job last time haha.

So rocker cover off

Set about sorting the pipework, this is the best gadget ever, vac line is now neatly hidden behind the head.

Mostly back together

So I should probably clean the engine bay at some point haha, probably do the inlet manifold black as well. Should be receiving a Phenolic Inlet Gasket soon to encourage me to get it done.

My ko3s has had a small weep ever since it went on 6 years ago. It's been removed 3 or 4 times and had new seals etc and it still weeps.

Hey guys, all back together and running, no leaks yet....except I seem to be leaking a small amount from the oil cap, am I best off just replacing the oil cap(Definitely not an r8 cap though)?

Also picked up a heavy lump of metal the other night to be attached to the rear beam shortly.

My pal has been hassling me to buy his funcy JDM bucket seat, very tempted.

Other than she's just been on daily duties. I'd describe the current colour as 2 tone brown and muddy yellow.

Theres a meet in Aberdeen on Tuesday so she might get a mop before then and some pictures.

Been very slack recently...it's cold leave me alone haha.

Bought Cordoba seat bases and cut up one of them up the other day so need to get the other one cut up and then weld them both. Then it's trial fits and I'll be sorting the bolsters and re trimming the centers before they graduate to daily duties.

Thinking of sorting out some decent amped components, how can I "rock out" to Sikth with a stripped interior and shitty standard speakers?

I say decent components but what I really mean is my shitty 2 channel Pioneer amp and some cheap 2 way components but that'll still be a million miles better than what came standard.

I'm tempted to put the interior back in if it's starting to get colder...don't want the back end stepping out in the frost. :(

Seats look good, definitely too cold to be arseing around though. How was it in the snow? Im contemplating putting some winter tyres on, but not sure if my 3 mile commute is worth it.

Honestly the Golf was better in the snow and it was lower and the carbs froze if it was cold enough :lol:Almost miss the Scoob haha.

Traction isn't too bad setting off but corners are a nightmare, nothing that decent tires and the interior back in wouldn't sort though. You should be alright, just engine brake where possible as the ABS is a right pain.

Luckily enough my abs and tcs are both still off due to a sensor fault, will get it sorted next week though. Not too many corners, just hills... Yeah, get the rears back in and fit arb. Glad im not running as much power as you are tho
