Well sorry for not much updates I've been accumulating parts for various upgrades and rebuilding bits and pieces. Just been driving it up until today as it's my daily.
...however this happened this morning. Not claiming as I reckon it'd be a write off if the chassis leg as gone? Any ideas on how to get the bonnet open?
Bit of crossroads now, looking at all the parts I've got it's definitely worth more to break...I've come to love the stupid thing though and I was looking forward to building it into a monster.

Easiest way to get bonnet open is to move the centre grill somehow and then manually pop it. Where u do this bud

Yeah my fault, slowed down at a roundabout slid into the car infront. Was more worried about the other guy really, he seems fine, really nice guy.

Is the chassis leg straight? If so give it a nip and tuck. Nothing a few tie-wraps and tiger seal.

Set about sorting the pipework, this is the best gadget ever, vac line is now neatly hidden behind the head.

Merlin Motorsport do them. 7/9mm can't remember which off the top of my head though

Leg is straight, just the inner wing/skin is a little bent out of shape.
Gonna fix it I thinks, just need to find a front end, need both wings, bonnet, headlight and possibly crash bar, not so fussed about the colour if I can find them cheap enough.
Bought a little run about tonight, will grab some pics tomorrow.

Ah, i was close. Could use some work but I say leave it to run into the ground as a daily while you build up the Cupra

Here's the brakes that arrived on the day I crashed. Still need to order up front pads and fluid.
Putting the old steering wheel back on, considering an LCR one if it fits?
Also got my hands on the brackets for the ARB so thats going on too.
Still pottering about in the Golf, after moving the Ibiza I think I miss the short shifter more than boost.
