yeah, youve gotta be picky who you let loose on your car these days.
generally, they see the car they are working on, as another job, and dont stop to think for a minute that its actuallys someones property, and someone has worked hard to own.
That said, there are some switched on people in the trade, and i always take my car places i know, and only let people i "know" work on it, and that'd be the case if it was a £500 run around, or my much loved cupra!
still, im not sure that the blokes at the local seat garage (doing a standard service) would notice that ive got a ko3S with a silencer, rather than a ko3 without (as it should be). Time will tell i suppose! have to see if anything is said when it goes for its next service!

it also acts as an oil catcher too apperently, Seems to make no or little difference power wise as we have sold both types of K03s, On my AM04 I have taken this out partly cause of fittment and partly cause of restriction, Although TBH I dont think it will be much gain, but the LCR one isnt on the turbo its a seperate pipe, Could possibly fabricate and insert for it. But TBH the Way LCR stuff has been selling lately (or rather lack of) dont think its gonna be worth it
I never looked inside a K03S (or and AM04) but from the posted pictures the "cannister" looks like the silcencer might not be as restrictive. Dunno about the PD150 turbo, but if you have a look in the end...
That sectional diagram shows how "bad" it is on the 210/225...
the silencer does not actually reduce the size of the pipe, that is why it is a bigger external diameter, because the inner diameter is the same as the rest of the pipe. its just like a gauge around the egde
