Glad your enjoying the car mate, shame about the TMC I was looking at one the other week but decided to stay away from them, hopefully you get it sorted out

He's offered me a free power pedal box or something, not something I would want as I can see it making the car drive like an Astra vxr (crap and surging all the time)

Had a little drive, first time I gave it abit of toe the car was very very flat but then picked up then was fine. I'm on setting 7 as that's what people have recommended to me. So far it feels nice, more powerful under load and pretty good, I'll have another little play on the way home from work as I've only done about 8miles.
Very very easy to fit, took me 5mins and that was for a neat install.

I'm going to look into fitting the pedal thing next week.

By the way been advised to run this on setting 6 not 7 so I will be changing this later for my drive home

Apparently higher settings are for higher octane fuel, id be running it on 7 as that appears to be what most people run it on. Or does it not feel right?

It felt fine but I gave some feedback to the guy at tmc and told him what setting I was running and he advised against it as it would be requesting too much boost, I'm taking his advice and backing it off

ok fair enough, so how you finding it? im expecting it to have way more shove 3k plus and pull much better top end?

Tbh I've only done about 8miles all I can say is its better at the minute and much stronger when your under load in a taller gear. I'm going to back it off and have a play on the way home. More boost doesn't alway mean faster.

No course not but it should give some decent gains, have only seen very few ppl with these on there cars, hence the interest

Soo I've done a few trips with the tuning box on my car and I've come to a verdict.

To start I wasn't happy at all with how long it took for it to be sent to me but after speaking to them on the phone I'm glad I went ahead with my order. The TMC has turned my ibiza into a little rocket and has nice smooth power. Last night coming home from work I gave that car abit of a kick up the backside down a private farmers road and it performed really really well. Over taking the farmer and his wife in there cars both at the same time was do e with ease and the car accelerates alot harder using the tourque in higher gears. The updated brakes, rear ARB and the extra power have turned this little 1.4 ibiza into a very stiff,agile brilliant handling rocket. I had a 225 tt this morning tailgating me along this private road swerving around behind me, a squeeze of the throttle made me leave him for dead and the ibiza was staying flatter and holding the road alot better.

I recommend the 312 setup, its brilliant, braking at 120 they felt soo strong and I have loads of faith in them.

I recommend the whiteline arb, the difference wasn't as night and day as my Leon was but last night it kept my turn in sweet and predictable and the car very flat.

The TMC... After finally getting it I'm very happy with it, it would take something abit special to keep up with me and the power is very smooth.driving normally I'm still getting high mpg figures. Quality of the kit is great and its sooo easy to fit. I paid 299 so if your interested get in touch and say a guy call robbie on seat cupra net said you do members discount and recommended the kit. Just to add I'm running on vpower and setting 6.

Sounds good mate, I mean I'm not convinced its as good a proper map but for the money it looks pretty good, my main concern is the AFR and timing etc as that you can't see.

The tmc loom connects to the cam sensor so that adjusts timing. If its not for you it's not for you but I don't see any reason why, I've only seen good reviews bar my little moan about despatchmemt
