This is a big catch up post from me as I've had some bits done but not had iPad Internet access to post vids etc.

First off my exhaust, as you know I had the centre section removed so here are a few vids of it, this is it running on the standard map.

Now onto the TMC box, I've had a few people question if its any good or even if it works, here's 2 videos you decide.

Both were filmed on the same bit of road and I'm also using the TMC power pedal on sport (50%) mode. The power pedal is a brilliant bit of kit.

What do you think?

Looks ands sound impressive and also after my little visit all I can notice on my car now (mainly in the 1st three gears) are the DSG farts you were on about lol :D

I was impressed with my standard 0-60 time but the TMC seems to have knocked 1/2 a sec off that and about 1sec 0-80 the TMC is much stronger than the standard map above that though. Under load the TMC feels and is much stronger.

Power pedal is like a 2 stage sport button for the throttle, the green light in the vids is the button and showing its in sport mode,press it again and it goes red (race mode). It really really good, I've been driving it on green (50%) and it make the car even more effortless to drive in D mode to the point that I now think S mode is crap. Throttle response is soo much better but is abit much in race for the road, the 1-2 gears kick down in D (not using kick down function at the bottom of the pedal) come much sooner and smoother, in fact power seems smoother also, I really rate it. Not sure if its anything to do with my car doing 0-60 in late 5sec standard though but it could be as it might take the slack up in the throttle response
 
looks pretty impressive in the videos.
the power pedal though although you say its good does it not just give you more power when your not asking for it?
i was under the impression they turn the pedal into an on off switch in the way that you press the pedal down say 10% and the power pedal gives you say 30% when you only want 10% at that point.

It works in that way but its easy controllable and nothing like an on off switch. I really like it
 
as long as you like it thats the important thing.
i read about them for the 20vt a few years ago but wasnt sure about the idea of it.
i should stop looking in these mk5 cupra threads really ive really grown to the idea of owning a dsg box the acceleration and flat foot shifting really appeals to me.

I love mine, it's a brilliant beautiful car.

I'm so surprised it was doing 0-60 in the 5's standard (I haven't made the car lighter either)

Decided to pull my finger out and fit my H&R springs and front spacers today as it was sunny.

Yeah i clocked it just over a second faster to 80 and just over half a second to 60 so decent enough gains, need to get one sorted myself I think and then get it on the rollers, Eibachs are getting fitted wednesday so shall see.
