I live in N.Ireland, so got it done by local company. If you live on the main land, just google hydro-dipping to find a company local to you. Cost me £100, but I know it can be done for much cheaper now, probably about £70 or so.
Just found a company 20mins away, so anyone interested they're called hydrograph and prices for engine covers start from £65.
It's not too loud at all, like I said you can barely hear it in the cabin you get the odd pop/dsg fart but you need the windows down to hear it, I was worried it was going to be too loud.

Yeah maybe I'm doing things too quick though? Spacers for the front came today and I also ordered my tmc box this morning, springs hopefully going on this weekend then that's it all done and just enjoy/show it

Mate, I'm loving mine, girlfriend is using it today and she text me asking if we could swap (she has a lovely A1). I'm also concerned at how quick I'm doing it all but I know where I want to be and where my limit is, OEM+ nice speced stage 1
Had me mate drive past me a few times so I can hear the exhaust, it's just right IMO, not chavy loud and I'm getting the dsg farts I wanted on gear changes, I defiantly recormend it.

If you did want a bit more sound inside just remove the rear seats every now and again
