Turboboy's facelift mk5 cupra

Hello,
I have an FL 150 tsi and TMC tuning box.
I have some trouble with this box with settings 5 at 9 I can not exceed 3000 tr/min when my car was cold.
when my car go around 3000 tr/min the car go down at 2000 tr/min, I need to wait around 5 minute.
Tmc say that normal, but do you have this issue ?

You running yours at setting 9?????? Can't say I've noticed this myself, can't see how the TMC can limit revs. If your running on setting 9 though this could well be your problem

No I have this problems with setting 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 to.
Is not a rev limit is unstable I will try do a vagcom log with rpm and pedal sensor position.

Well it's been a little while since I've posted anything on here but I thought I'd keep anyone interested up to date.

I've always been very very happy with my 312 setup and tbh it's more than the car needs....but..... I couldn't get brembos out of my head.. Not for the extra power from them but for the look of them behind my wheels, this will also finish my car off nicely. Going to be running red stuff pads and the lcr 323mm discs :)

So here they are when I picked them up.

Maybe it's the car trying to protect itself abit while its cold,I don't nail it while its cold but havnt noticed anything like this either.. I run setting 6 then went to 7 after my fmic by the way
 
Vht caliper paint, I did a lot of prep work though and they have clear coat on them. The vht paint works very very well and is a nice red
 
Did you get the new brakes fitted then, any pics? Looking for a 312mm set up for mine as the standard brakes are just not up to it.
 
Just wondered if you have had any problems with the motor of late as I bought the facelift model last July done 7000 miles and my cat converter went, still love it though, apart from the garmin sat nav... thatll be the death of me
 
Thanks for the comments guys. This thread is well out of date, I stopped updating it as I didn't feel people were that interested and I don't use the forum that often anymore.

Kenny PM me, I can sort you out a set of rebuild and powder coated 312s

Not had any real problems with my monitor but I have had to reset it a few times.

Cheers mate but unfortunately brakes have been put back a bit due to buying a new house, might need to settle for upgraded pads for a while. Your new wheels are going to look epic when on. Really like BBS CV's but there pretty hard to find these days.
