Hi mate i don`t have experience in this myself but I`ve just read through the thread and the guy called Rosco906 seems to think so (posts 9 and 16)... maybe contact him?

The connectors are different.

Single H4 headlights have a 3 way connector for one bulb

Twin headlights have two 2 way connectors for two separate bulbs.

I thought he meant the loom connector for the headlight unit as a whole? Tubbsy?

well this is the thing i had a front ender and lights got smashed and they was single lights with 2 lil bulbs next to them and my mates ibiza has got 2 lights and then a lil bulb so i fort i could buy the same as them as i just found a pair on ebay the man in the shop told me i would most likey need them as myn being a sport and had fog lights soo i dno ???

Ok, I`m with you... I think it depends on the year ie: SEAT fitted twin headlights to all sports after a certain year? and only certain ones before? not sure.
As I said not sure on the wiring myself but I know both types of light will physically fit. Perhaps conact that Rosco906 guy? It seemed to work for him?
