Had a puncture while out and about yesterday. It's sporting a set of Pirelli PZeros and they have split in a 4 inch gap along the rim, is this normal? Wear on tyres isn't too bad, they've done 13000 miles.

Need to get it replaced. I presume I can get away with replacing the front 2 rather than all 4? Where's best to get them done and what should I go for?

Help :D

Did you drive on the flat tyre? if so then the rim may have made the split in the sidewall.....

Ye just replacing the front 2 tyres is fine, only tend to replace all 4 on the 4wd sports like Evo's etc.(and thats debaitable!)

Get a tyre with a rim protector on it!! is my only advice.....

Well....I got the warning on the dash but didn't know what it was for. I may have driven from York to Sunderland and back before noticing the tyre was buggered! :cartman:

I recomend that you replace the front 2 and put to the rear. this stops understeer believe it or not
