tyre sizing question?

Hi,

I have 17" x7.5 wheels on my ibiza, will 215/40 or 45 tyres fit??

go with 205/40's they'll look and handle better

I have 205/40s on there at the mo and they looked stretched on my rims

i had 205's on my 17's aswell as 215's an a must say the 215's were better looking. not much difference to grip though although slightly better off the line. the 215's also will help reduce kerbing etc more than 205's. if it was me id go 40's but ride can be a bit harsher. just looks better imo.

Rather than putting wide tyres on, you could just fit tyres that have built in rim protectors - most manufacturers offer a tyre that has these built in.


Or you could learn to park.......

205's will be fine over a 7.5
